The idea:
Navigating the real world can be tricky, for anyone, let alone a Barbie. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right words to search for what you’re looking for. Luckily, with the new Google app, you can search the things you see with Lens.
The execution:
We partnered with Barbie the Movie and casted Meg Stalter to be our Delusional Barbie, to learn more about the world around her using Lens in the Google app. Prior to the release of the campaign, we dropped a teaser from Meg to further engage her existing fan base and join in on the hype surrounding the upcoming movie.
We extended the campaign through social videos, featuring various influencers demo-ing how Lens helps them in their own day-to-day lives, just like Barbie.
Who could be cast as a better Delusional Barbie than Meg Stalter.
